I doubt that this isn’t the only site that isn’t going any where at the present. I have given more attention to my personal blog that can be found at BelievingThomas.org . At a later date I may return to this site as a family site, or give the children an assignment of filling it up.
Since we are so far from home for the holidays, I thought to put up some Christmas messages for friends, family and anyone else interested. I have already posted one message here “The Christmas Epic – 2008″. I hope to write a few more for the month of December to explore the concept of Christmas. The picture on the head page is taken on the border of Ukraine and Moldavia. It was taken from a monastery in the cliffs on the Ukrainian side. The fields on the other side are Moldavian. This picture was a several pictures compiled together.
I am continuing research for setting up websites. It is a incredibly vast field that is in constant flux. I began with some books a few years old. It helped give me a bases for understanding the start of web design and html. I began with a simple Table based layout design, which was the original first home page of FlemingsFive. As I have continued research it is clear that it will require more maintenance and be less flexible. I next began reading more recent books that pushed me in the direction of CSS (Cascading styles sheets). But It is still not the total answer. A Content Management Systems seems to be the answer such as we have in WordPress. However to obtain a unique looking site has its challenges. So I am starting the WordPress experiment to see what can be done. This is in preparation of launching a far more important site OlegLos.com
